ok im new here, and very dumb when it comes to electronics, cept how to use them lol.
ive been going through this entire thread, looking at the amazing home screens and apps you all use, absolutley incredible.

i tried to search for some of the apps to use them myself and found, the market comes up with no results. im using the htc hero with sprint, firmware version 1.5.

the phone wasa given to me by a friend when my old phone stopped working. i realzed all the apps i want wont work with my phone because of the firmware and i would like to know how i can update it to make these apps sdownloadable.


if there is a way at least. and for everyone who customizes their home screens, like with the taskbars and iconss, i saw the thread that has all that stuff, but i have no friggin idea how i would go about doing it myself without screwing up my phone.

yep...i is a n00b lol. but you all seem to know so much and are amazing with customization so i figured it was worth it to ask.
