It's under accounts and sync/manage accounts. tap google and you have settings for Sync contacts, gmail and calendar. I just unchecked all but gmail.

All im able to do is Sync contacts, sync gmail, and sync calendar.

I can't uncheck anything.

At the bottom i have Sync Now and Remove account.
