can i mount my hero another way besides pressing menu, (!)?

Pull down the notifications and press "Select to copy files to USB"

i figured it out..... is there a program that will allow my sd card to always be readable? any time i have my phone plugged in, once i unplug it, i have to do a soft reset to see anything on my sd card........ ive searched but havent found anything.. thanks!!!

Something is wrong. You may need to back-up and format the card. Mine doesn't have that problem.

what format does vids have to be in, and where should they be located on my sd card so that i can use HTC flash?

Mp4, and I don't know, but HTC Flash is not as good as Meridian or Video Player from the Market and when you use those they can be anywhere on the SD

ive got bar control in the notifications, which is a great app!, and now my phone automatically mounts to pc when its plugged in.. thanks though!

yeah, but im just tryin to find a player that will play mp4 vids, and allow me to shuffle, or repeat all... meridian or videoplayer has those options but they dont work... By the way, i have all 3 installed, but usually just use estrongs file explorer to play vids in full screen; one by one. any players that repeat all or shuffle? thanks!!!
