tried installing a lockscreen and it says it can't be installed on my phone? anyone know why? it's rooted and using app installer.

Well since this thread just about covers all custom themes, etc I thought I would put this here:

This is some taskbar icons I made to flow along with the Android OS.



I removed the battery (I used Battery Life and thus removed one of the battery icons). The data still has the active/idle arrows and the signal strength is represented in both bars as well as a number on the little Android guy.

To do:

Add GPS
Add Wi-fi
Add email
Add SMS
etc...

Just installed this on my Hero with Freshhh ROM 1.1 and it looks good. Can't wait until you complete the set. Once you get it done you should contact Flipz and Noj to see if they could include it in their pre-kitchen. Again GREAT WORK!!!!!

Nicely done sir, Im also working on new taskbar icons, with work, life, and family its slowed down my process up in here but truly appreciate you sharing your work. Keep up the good work..

Well I have had no luck updating the rest. Every time I update anymore of the icons, the updated .apk keeps the phone from booting. Maybe my re-signing method is corrupted?

So far, I have made new icons for:

Sync
Bluetooth
Download
Wifi
Headset/Headphone
GPS

If anyone wants to try and re-assemble this for me, I will post the files...

**Edit 1/11/09 Here are the rest of the icons (Icons.zip). If someone could combine these with my working .apk's in the Update.zip below, it would complete the set and be MUCH appreciated!
