Re: htc hero question please!

yea..i got the phone yesterday, and confirming there is no tether app for it yet...ONLY way is pdanet that you have to pay for (i will personally wait because i know this phone will get hacked like crazy)... im sure once someone roots this fone successfully the gameplay will change... there is alot of rooting for the htc hero in other places, but it is only FOR GSM...do not do it to your cdma phone, you will pretty much guarantee to brick it

Re: htc hero question please!

Yea T-Mobile complained about tether and they removed it, I have heard that Pdanet does work, I had it on my Tp and another Winmo it gets the job done, There is a Sd card slot but you cant save the app's to it.

I can assure you CDMA Hero will be rooted in no time. Radio difference is not a big deal. It is just a matter of time.

Re: htc hero question please!

To root your phone is to gain root access to the Linux under Android OS. as soon as we get root access to the cdma hero, then it will be a viable phone. With root access we will. be able to flash custom ROMs, tether, store applications to the storage card, etc. But until they are able to root the. cdma hero its a no go.
