completely reset htc hero?
im selling my htc hero and would like to completely reset my phone. i already did a hard reset but my number still shows up under the "about device" section. is there a way to remove that? thanks

If you have your MSL you should be able to edit it. Of course once it is re-activated on a new line that will do it too.

Do the "svn" reset:
##786# then press "menu" and then tap "reset". That will get rid of your number. If you only need to erase your personal info, go to "Settings - Privacy - Factory Data Reset"
