Donation offerings for Alltel root

I am starting this thread in hopes someone will root the Alltel hero......I'm willing to donate $20 to whoever gets this working.......anybody else wanna pitch in?

I would love help rooting my Alltel hero every forum I post gets responded with "use the sprint method" by some guy who doesn't own an Alltel hero and cant give definitive proof that it works with our carrier so please don't tell us the same crap, unless you've tested on an Alltel network with an Alltel phone or proof that it will work. As far as I know once you root you cant revert to stock. So I don't wanna take any chances. Any help is appreciated.

Used this solution to Root a Cellular South Hero, might work for Alltel

i would be willing to throw down on that. i actually have a spare hero (won it at work) that i would be willing to experiment on if anyone finds the way to do it. sprint does not work for root
