Re: Chirp Chirp

I feel the same way on the moment forum. I found SDX and they had a lot of development/churn for the moment and it was awesome. But since the Evo dropped, a lot of people jumped ship and a lot of the development has slowed down. I've been happy with my moment from day one and come on here to see if I can find new mods. I feel like people a lot of people go elsewhere for their android needs, aside from the Hero/Evo

Yeah the Hero works. That's what made me decide to go with it. After reading posts here and at xda, I knew it would be a solid device hardware-wise. Of course software-wise it will get a makeover. I saw that someone released a Froyo test port ROM over at xda, so it's only a matter of time. I was in the Vogue forums, still am some because it's still working after 2 1/2 years. I plan on swapping ti to my wife's line as soon as I can cook her up a ROM.

Re: Chirp Chirp

Rumor on in the twitosphere is Cyanogen is going to be finally developing for the Hero. That will definitely breath some life into our already outdated device..

It's not outdated...the vogue & diamond, tp are outdated. Our phone just got abandoned because of the slowness of it. Even though i don't see it as being slow, i agree 2.2 will really give it a boost.

Yeah, I'm stoked cyanogen is onboard, because Sprint stated there will be no official 2.2 for the hero.
