Re: Hero to Evo?

My 1-year hero anniversary is not until November so I would have to pay full price if I tried to get the Evo before then. I will have to restrain myself and hope that 2.1 improves the Hero experience enough that I can hold out until November.

If you want performance out of your Hero until you can upgrade, get Fresh Toast 2.1. Overclock that bad boy to 768 mhz, and that should hold you over until you get your Evo.

Re: Hero to Evo?

Consider my hero gone... BB said they'll give me $110 for it so im just gonna give it to em and apply that gift card towards my evo purchase. Plus i'm getting tired of the "out of storage space" popup.

Only $110? I know it can be convenient to just drop the phone off, and be done, but you could easily get another $100 for the hero if you sell it yourself.

Re: Hero to Evo?

Probably... but I honestly hate the hassle of going through the ebay/craigslist thing when I sell something. Plus I didnt pay anything for it anyways... but who knows that may be an option.

Re: Hero to Evo?

And I just checked the local craigslist.. there are already a ton of heros on there going for $150-200 brand new. There are gonna be a ton of people trying to get rid of these things to get the evo and its pretty apparent now but looking at cl.

If you don't mind me asking, how does that work? And by BB I'm assuming you mean Best Buy?
