and there's a thread to back up my statement, it can be done "maybe" but virtually nothing works. that's from xda, if the guy above me got everything he did esn cloning and i wouldn't advise it.

To accuse someone of cloning is very disrespectful. You can fully flash a Hero to cricket, there are tutorial on howto on howardforums in the cricket forum, PDA section and on cdmagurus.com.

As you are a VIP member I'm surprised about your attitude and disrespect towards another member.
So here are you links for proof,

and here's your google search

So there is your proof now show me where/why you would need to clone to get data working and fully flash the Hero or any phone to cricket.
ljohnson1981 and Kc720 are respected members of the flashing community and would not need to clone as they know phones and know how to crack them like the rest of us. So for the future I might suggest if you don't know the service or how to flash to the service keep the accusations to your self

well im glad you posted the links but they did not and my searching told me it was not possible unless you esn clone which another member also said in this thread. the hero is a sprint phone and should be used on sprint IMO not cricket or metro. id be shocked if you guys could get everything to work on those networks. besides the fact there is virtually no roms for those carriers. so before you accuse or bash me understand where i was coming from.

The best thing about cricket is the fact that you can use ANY CDMA device on their network. If all networks did that, just think of all the phones that would stay out of the landfill. As for cloning, that gets you no where but prison fast. You can lose features like EVDO when you do that. As for ROMs vertually any ROM will work for cricket because of the manipulation of settings.
I don't understand where you were coming from, I did not accuse or bash. You accused ljohnson1981 a respected member of the cricket flashing community and a member of the "cricket mafia" highly respected in some forums. Of committing a felony and degrading "or attempting to" his good name to prove that you knew what you were talking about.

So I guess in the end I just want to say I don't mean this to a bashing/flaming. I'm just supplying information and my personal opinions. I will always throw on my opinion if I know that I'm right.

*FYI Cloning will not allow any feature that don't already work to function.
and
ALL features of the Hero, Eris, Droid are currently working fully on the cricket network. Thanks to the cricket Mafia and other contributing members of the flashing community.

I just want to say that this is a very well written post. Even though you didn't call me out, i DID suggest that the ESN was cloned, and you have provided evidence that that isn't the case. This post has gained you much respect from me, and if i could hit the thanks button twice, i would.

He probably cloned the ESN, which is the Voldemort of this forum.
I did not Quote your post because you your statement was of an unknown person.
fixxxer2008's post was actually accusing a member and one I respect of basically being a felon.
But like I said not here to bash/flame just stating facts opinions and information.
