Hey,

New to hero. Wanting to know if you have to be rooted to run any wifi tethering app?

I had a diamond previously and was constantly flashing roms and changing stuff. This time I really wanna stay away from that. I want to just be happy enough with the OS and apps that arent going to ruin any type of warranty and what not.

Answers and thoughts on the above paragraph are welcome!

Basically it is unlocking the phone.

Thanks for the input guys. im still gonna keep away from it all for a little bit. just made the switch to android from windows and im 1000% happier than i was.
