@thacounty, Vlingo isn't an official released application yet is it? no application on market. found it on another site though.

Unfortunatley, Skype has stopped support of Windows Mobile as well. I'm not sure about iPhone, but since iPhone isn't on verizon... who knows.

Yeah that extremely sucks! At least we can use the Windows mobile application though, for android they say you can still use the floating lite apk for 2010. Are you like me seeking a skype application like the one they had for windows mobile.. great for chatting IMO.

I figured so, as i saw it and was like wtf... how is this application skype related! haha, no problem, i remember phew, months ago asking for a skype app, came back now and still nothing new.

I wish, but no you can't since it requires a Verizon connection/phone... I hope eventually a work around is made, you can use this version of skype for now though, found in this thread below.

I just realized that the Skype app still sucks so free skype calling is still better on Fring IMHO, and you can chat too. (which is the only useful thing about Skype lite)

So you are telling me that BOTH these skype apps dial a local number? how the F is that usefull? Besides fring is there not a way to use skype's sip just like it works natively on iphone / blackberry?
