help HELP HELP my hero won't start

i was intalling a rom i think it was vanilla3.4.... and now my hero won't start all the way .....the only thing that comes up is the first htc and thats it .....help

Well most of the time when you boot up a new rom, it takes a good 5 to 10 mins. If it's still on the first screen, take the battery out and put it back in. Then hold home and press power. This should bring you into Recovery. Do a wipe, and then a Nand restore. Hopefully you did a Nand Backup. If not then load up another rom thats in your sd card. Reboot and you should be good to go.
