Keyboard makes sound using space bar, but doesn't space?

Have you guys had the issue where the keyboard will make the space sound when using the space bar, but you look back at what you typed, and no space was inserted? This doesn't happen all the time, but it happens enough for me to post about it. I think it only happens in landscape. Don't think it has happened in portrait.
