i agree im gonna wait for a while , but will look into the nexus .not gonna lie , if the hero is gonna get shortchanged B/C of a processer , might as well step up to see what all of 2.1 looks like , hope sprint keep the nexus one the same ,but we dont have to go through the google store ..heard it was a nightmare.

I know I HAVE to get the Evo but Depending on how soon this drops and how my $ looks I may get the N1 to hold me over until the Evo

I wonder how smooth hacked Sense is on the N1?

to my knowledge sense has not been ported to the N1 at all. i love my hero but yes even rooted it can be slow at times and i wish the design was better. the best phone design ive seen so far is the tp2, if it could only run a full working build of android i would get it and keep it.

the N1 will be my next phone as im skipping the evo. anybody know of a firm release date yet for the nexus on sprint? the reps are telling me early june.

Re: Nexus One from Google Coming to Sprint; Availability Date Announced Soon

I'm wondering will there be enough time between the release of the N1 and the Evo for it to be worth it for me to buy the N1 until the Evo?

Here is one of many videos I found of the N1 running the Desire's version of Sense UI:

Looks pretty smooth!

^^ yeah i was gonna say the same thing. the desire rom was ported to the n1. cyan and those guys at xda have done wonders already for this device. ever since i heard the n1 was coming to sprint ive been keeping an eye out for the latest developement for it. i for one am hoping it drops this month. with summer a few months away it would be foolish for it to release any later. there wont be any point to because of the evo. im sure the price difference will be only a 100 bux or so... and i know most of us will fork up the extra cash for that 4.3" screen and 720p.

Yeah it needs to drop now to matter.... The news section says June 13th for the Evo (http://www.ppcgeeks.com/2010/04/07/r.../#comment-3687)!!!

Which sounds accurate Evo is too big to wait until September especially since they've already started advertising it. Sprint needs to drop the Evo ASAP because right now Sprint is falling behind with their top tier phones. If they wait that long the next best will be on its way out. I think I'll pass the N1 and just wait on the Evo unless I stumble into some kind of deal ;D
