Red face Netflix on Hero

Hi everyone, I was doing a little reading and came across this. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this coming for the Hero or just the android platform. This would be a very cool feature to have. Here is the link I'm refering to: http://www.engadget.com/2010/03/15/n...hone-7-series/

I really hoping this comes for android.....

Re: Netflix on Hero

I haven't heard of it coming to anything other than Windows 7 Series. Microsoft has the heads up on that because Netflix Watch Instantly works on Microsoft's Silverlight.

I would be satisfied with a good hulu or fancast app.

+1 the hero doesn't have real Flash (and apparently won't) nor does it have support for Silverlight so don't ever expect it to

Flash 10.1 was ported to 2.1 roms already. It is running great on Damagecontrol.

"ported" huh and maybe i'll have to give that a try.
and besides, Netflix Watch Instantly runs specifically on Silverlight, first time I ran it in Chrome it made me download Silverlight even though I had Flash 10 installed, I'm sure its the same rules for mobile since Silverlight is what MS is pushing

Here's the basics of silverlight:

It does video better than flash.

It does everything else worse than flash.

You have now been filled in.
