How do you run "ShootMe" - Page 2

Agreed.

OP did you flash a non-rooted rom? If the rom you flashed isn't rooted then you can still get into your recovery screen, but can't use rooted apps. Try WiFi tether, or Cachemate and see if they work.

Couldn't find WiFi tether in search, but found the Cachemate DEMO... and it said "CACHES HAVE BEEN CLEARED" when I pushed the little waste basket icon...

Amanda, what ROM did you flash after rooting? Did you do anything after rooting?

ShootMe works fine for me.

I literally just followed this video and that is all I've done. I haven't messed with any settings or anything.

Okay, so I guess the best / easiest thing for me to do is hard reset and start over.

Any suggestions on a good 'rooting your phone' guide? Because I'm obviously not going to use the same one (lol)

Look in my tips and tricks thread, there are 2 good options. Also you can go to geekfor.me and get the pre-kitchen .2 and use the auto rooter.

But if cachemate works you are rooted. It is a shootme problem. I have no idea why your phone won't work and others will haha. I use the pink one.

Yeah, the pink one is the same one I was trying to use. I have no idea whats going on...

I'm just going to hard reset / re-root using a different guide.. and hopefully succeed in making ShootMe work.. Wish me luck!
