How do you run "ShootMe"
 

I rooted my phone.
I downloaded "ShootMe".

I try to run ShootMe and it says "Failed starting server. Please check that you have ***ROOT*** access on your device and enabled access to the lower level graphics"

What's going on? It's def. rooted, but I don't know if it is enabled for access to the lower level graphics. I basically just know how to press the down volume and end key to get to the root screen and whatever screen the home button takes me to.

Can someone help me out here? I just wanna be able to take screen shots!

Well, since shootme is the application that you SHOULD be able to run when you are root, you probably aren't root. Try it again.

I don't understand that last paragraph, other than you seem to think you are root, what makes you think that? What screen do you get when you press home?

That means I'm rooted right?

(and I meant the home key takes me to the RECOVERY screen -- Those are the only 2 places I have been -- main screen & recovery screen)

That is telling you that you are in boot.img. When you press home is there green writing on the screen?

When I press home, it has green writing and says:

Android system recovery

-Reboot system now
-USB-MS toggle
-Backup/Restore
-Flash zip from sdcard
-Wipe
-Partition sdcard
-Other

reinstall shootme or try a different app. it may be the app itself.

Did you flash another rom? or just stock rooted?

There are 2 versions of shootme. Try the other one.

Okay, I downloaded "PicMe", which I believe is the other version..and it said the exact same thing. Does anyone know of a screen capture, that you KNOW works, that I could try?
