One more sprint hero user!

Been with WinMo since the 6700 up to the TP2. Girlfriend now has TP2 and best buy had a sweet deal on the hero so I figured i'd use it as a test to see if I'll be purchasing supersonic.

Well I followed the instructions for custom rom here, however when I went to install fresh I had loads of errors, any rom did. so I spent the last 2 days trying to root different ways, until I realized I needed to wipe the device before flashing the rom.

Anyway everything seems to be running great now, thanks a lot for all the info!

i was in the same boat...started with 6700. then mogul, then TP then TP2. went to the hero almost 2 months ago, and the only regret i have is not switching sooner.

Kinda the same story here... I actually was winmo up until the tp2.. had a 3gs also. Got rid of the tp2, got a nexus and also caught a pretty sweet deal I couldnt pass up on a hero.. so I put the fresh 2.1 on the hero and kinda use it as a test gauge before I do stuff to my nexus. I think i'm a tech freak... I have a 3gs, a nexus and a hero.. and if the supersonic comes to sprint im getting that too.. ha ha.

I wish i had the income to do that. I would surely surpass you in the number of unecessary phones.

lol... you should have seen how many I had before I got laid off from sprint.
