If you're reading this and you havent tried the new rom yet try it! NOW!!! It is definitely worth any glitches you may run into.

Really? Mine seems to have died really fast but I was playing with it a lot and then I spent a few hours in class with terrible service which usually drains my battery, so hopefully I'll get a more accurate measure over the next few days.

Still no Facebook contact sync but the Rom is still well worth it.

I'm loving the new (new for us at least) apps we finally can access. Google goggles is sweet!

How does 2.1 handle groups you have setup under contacts in your Gmail account? I have a group, titled "CellPhone", and that is the only contact list I would like to see when I go under people. The Hero, with 1.5, does not have the ability to only display the CellPhone group. Can this be done with 2.1?

I dont see that as an option, but there are some nice new ones that i dont rememebr being there before. If you go to contacts/menu/view there are now options to display only contacts with phone numbers, remove or add auto gmail contacts (so glad this can easily be shut off now) and I see an option for Facebook contacts that I dont think was there before. Unfortunately I havent been able to get my FB sync to work

I think the "Display only contacts with phone numbers" will do what I'm looking for.

What about multiple Gmail account support? I don't care as much about getting alerts for all Gmail accounts, but it would be nice to check both of my accounts via the native Gmail app on the phone.

Is anybody having trouble receiving pics? I'm not getting mine. They're on my picmail account online but they never got to my phone. Does it just take a long time? If it doesn't come through will it just pend until a compatible rom is flashed and then be delivered? I just dont want to get caught off guard when it comes ya know lol?

I have 2.0b2, no problem with pics. Only fb synk and dang texts everytime I get voicemail, signed up for Google voice, but Sprint message tells me to "turn on mdn", not sure how. Other then that, loving Fresh

All I did to use Google voice was enable forwarding *28***-**** then turned off caller presentation and enabled DND in settings on Google Voice website both of which send the call straight to VM when it's forwarded otherwise the ringtone changes and the caller has to wait again. As for the stupid voicemail text I am using Handcent so I just added the source of the text messages to my blacklist and I don't see them anymore.

I've been through both versions of this 2.1 ROM and I had no FB sync issues with either. I remember reading something about a possible fix for it on XDA but I can't remember atm. My only problem was that v.2.0b2 ate my battery to death and then just lost Mobile networking. Had to wipe and return to v.2.0b. Battery life great again and I got's my mobile net again.

lol im gonna laugh if we have a fully working 2.1 before sprint even hints at our signed one from them... they pay developers for this and our guys are doing this in there spare time and there still faster...
