contacts picture

ok so ive taken some pictures for the people in my phone, and when i assign the photo to them, the picture is blurry...any body know why? to be more specific, its only blurry when there is an incoming call. if i make an out going call, the image is fine. i am not zooming the picture in any way and when i view the picture in the album viewer, it seems fine. is anybody else experiencing this problem?

Re: contacts picture

When you assign the contact make sure you do it from the picture itself and not the contact card.

Open album --> Select picture --> Menu --> Set As

Re: contacts picture

Ive had the same issue, the only explanation I can see is for some reason the phone is using the thumbnail and not the real pic.

Re: contacts picture

Ok I just messed around with it and think I found a solution. Open your albums and click the picture you want to use, be sure the pic is maximized, or taking up the whole screen. Hit menu and set as. Set it to your contact. I did this and it made the pics look clear. If you do this without maximizing the photo it will indeed use the thumbnail and not the full size pic.
