Contacts Syncing All Instead of My Contacts

I know sounds backwards, but I had to reset my phone today after installing a lock program that screwed with the phone.

I have everything back the way I want it with one exception. When my google contacts synced up with the phone it synced with all of my contacts instead of the ones that were under My Contacts (which is were all of my correct phone contacts are). I poke around here and online and am not finding anything

If there is another thread about this please link it, but I'm at a loss. I don't mind going through and cleaning up the All contacts in gmail, but it's alot of emails addresses that I've sent out mail to once or twice. Just kind of annoying to have to sift through that looking for a contact.

Or I would be open to other contact apps if there is a good one someone can recommend.
