Backup and Restor after new ROM

i was wonderign what everyone was using for backing all the installed apps, contacts and just general stuff pryor to flashing a new rom and then restoring to the new rom .... i hate to keep flashing a new rom and then having to start from scratch everytime ...

Unless you are wiping everytime, all of your apps should stay.

Most roms i looked st suggest you wipe before you flash , tiz why i was asking

Yeah, i dont typically wipe unless it specifically states wipe. Try flashing the rom first, if you run into problems, then wipe and reflash. As for restoring after a wipe, not really anything out there to restore everything back. Maybe someone knows of an app.

If you do need to wipe I suggest google for everything except apps then I suggest titanium backup.
