Wireless Tether Drain battery?

does the wireless tether drain the battery even tho its plugged into my laptop? it seems not to chsrge while wireless tether is on.

Yep it will kill your battery. Current from PC won't be enough

9 times out of 10, a warning pops up telling me the discharge is greater than the charging current. Damn USB's 500ma current!

Would plugging into an A/C outlet fix it? Just curious since you keep saying your plugging into the laptop.

Yes, it would fix the first message. But then the batt will overheat, reminiscent of the TP days haha and it will stop charging. But it will last a good while even though it says not charging it just actually is saying that it is charging a little slower than it is using battery.
