Sprint hero on Bell Mobility

Just wondering if a Sprint Hero can work on the Bell Mobility Network in Canada, there seems to be some good deals on Ebay

Re: Sprint hero on Bell Mobility

C'mon man, read the rules about the upgrade section http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=99789

As for your question, I'm not sure. I've gotten a few winmo phones and even a palm pre onto alltel, but that was a while ago, and I dunno anything about Bell Mobility. It involves changing some settings in the ##data# (phone dialer) menus and you'll probably need to use CDMA Workshop. In short, it might be quite a bit of work.

"If it is device specific, then post it in the device forum" I thought this is what I did.

Re: Sprint hero on Bell Mobility

well you were close anyway... right device forum, wrong section.... as you may have noticed... this forum dosent look like the many WinMo forums here... this 1 is clean and until recently only UPGRADES were posted here, and all questions about an UPGRADE were posted in the correct THREAD of said UPGRADE... ie, a fresh rom question was posted in the fresh rom THREAD of the UPGRADE forum... yet another reason I'm glad I swaped to android... CLEAN FORUM NAVIGATION!

not trying to flame anyone and I'm sure you "with your rep and post count" you know far better then I do

As for the bell question... I believe, from what I've read here and at xda, flashing a new radio will brick/kill our phones correct me please if I'm wrong but wouldnt switching carriers involve some sort of new radio to recieve the bell signal?
