Contacts transfer

Just switched from the touch pro to the hero is there any way possible to transfer my #'s with out havin to go to the sprint store or type them in one by one because I tried to do it thru my hotmail account but I needed some kinda sever addresss... no idea where to get that... Can someone maybe be of assistance it would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a gmail account. That is how I transferred mine. I synced the contacts to my computer then transferred that to my gmail, now my contacts are always backed up on gmail. Dont know if this is the best or fastest way but it worked for me and I like how gmail has all my contacts so if I loss my phone all I need to do is log into gmail on the new phone and all my contacts are back.

what did u use to snyc them to your cpu because I didnt have an outlook account so my contacts wouldnt sync when I used active snyc with my touch pro. is it possible to do it from my hotmail?

Not sure but I did use microsoft outlook to do the sync

i used sprite backup on my touch pro so i jus used the sprite explorer to open the old backup and exported them to my windows contacts. Then i synced my hero and it added all my contacts for me
