Can you save your original notes on your desktop/laptop pc and try to change them to the right format? Then transfer them to your new device.

I have tried to open them on my desktop but when I open them they don't open right. I guess Ill look into doing it the way you said, I was hoping there was just an app on the Hero that would open them.
