Alarm busted (no sound)

I have a Sprint Hero and something is wrong with the stock HTC Alarm. When it goes off, the phone will vibrate (if vibrate is checked) but no sound will come out. I tried raising the volume while on the alarm clock screen, but that only seems to adjust ringer volume (which is already set at max).

Has anyone seen this issue or have any ideas on how to get it working?

Thanks in advance...

It may be controlled by the media volume. I would point you where to adjust this but im not sure cause i have always used "Volume Control".

Have you tried setting the alarm alert sound to a different sound other than the regular one? If everything is set right and it doesn't play any sounds then something is corrupted.

I also have the same problem, I guess I will have to install Fresh to fix it.

Re: Alarm busted (no sound)

Open the screen where you would set an alarm, pull up the menu where you pick which ringer you want, and use your volume rocker. It will adjust the volume for alarms.

You can also install Quick Settings from the market and you can many options, one of which is full system volume controls for alarm, media, etc.

I have it set up so I can access it all from a shortcut in the notifications panel.
