Re: New modaco cdma hero 2.0 rom

tried downloading and installing twice and both times it flashed perfectly but got a bunch of force closes.

Anyone have the same problem? from what i see everyone has only a few force closes when they open a certain program. mine just gives me a bunch when loading the homescreen...

will give it another shot this weekend.

R u using a2sd2? If so u may b using ext3 for fresh. This requires ext2. Just a thought.

ThaCounty made a point. Also for testing purposes , did you install over top of stock , another rom like (fresh) or did you do a new install ?

I am not using aps2sd, but I did flash on top of fresh 1.0. I will try to flash to stock and then this rom over the weekend to test.

It put you over your Hero's app limit, I'm I'm right: your newtork is also unavailable right?

I used Astro File Explorer to uninstall whatever extra apps (namely the HTC Widgets) the new ROM brought on.

Although I appreciate flipz work and will always check out his stuff for me this rom has been much more stable and snappier for the work i do on it. For now, im with modaco..

tried this rom out, very shortly found voice search to always force close and that was the deal breaker. im back on 1.3 for now.
