Default Music player opening self

In the last few days, the Hero's default music player is suddenly opening itself. If I scroll over to the music player screen and stop for a moment, the player starts. It also keeps changing the style of player on it's own. Anyone else have this issue? If so, how can I fix it? Thanks.

I've noticed this as well. I've also noticed since I've installed the Advanced Task Manager that the Music player is always active and I'm wondering if this is contributing to my poor battery life.
