Re: STX taskbar v.5

Thanks Setix! For the record, I dig the clean (plain) look. Just what I was looking for. However, when I install your taskbar, it reverts my lockscreen to the stock one. So, I reapplied the Evil Transparent lock screen, and it reverted the taskbar to the stock one. Is there any way I can get your taskbar with the transparent lock screen? I'm a little confused!

Thanks again.

im not sure why its changing the lockscreen. the install zip only changes the framework apk files, and doesnt touch htc lockscreen apk.

Its the kitchen. I used it to change my bootscreen and load the original menu bar. Before that, i had completely removed the HTC lockscreen apk, but after using the kitchen, the call anser reverted back to how it was before the lockscreen was renmoved. What curious about it is that my lockscreen itself didn't change. Strange occurences, but i can assure both of you its not the menu bar that is the culprit. I intend to investigate further now that i am getting comfortable ripping android apart.

Thanks for looking into this! I also noticed that the transparent notification menu/drop-down is now back to stock too. I'm running FreshROM 1.1. I guess I should just restore my Nandroid backup and try this one step at a time. That way it's easier to troubleshoot.

I'll ask him about it then....though it looks like Brad might figure it out.

Actually, is there any way to install it as an update via recovery mode instead? I tried to do so, but it gave me an error. Can't remember it exactly. Something framework related.
