wrong, network is fully capable, but like att says, you just need 2 devices to do it. ;)
it's amazing what you can do with simple epst stuff...

Just because the technology is there doesn't mean it was set up that way. It would cost hundreds of millions of dollars to get Simultaneous voice/data, it's just not happening.

my mistake, i assumed it was because well, it makes sense and seems like it would make a good combination. i hadn't kept up with Nextel devices because Radioshack stopped carrying them and the last one we had was Powersource, i just assumed they would keep building them that way

Radioshack, represent!!

Reading a lot of your other threads I had a suspicion you worked for RS just wasn't sure though. That makes 4 of us that I know of.

Who are the other two? We should start a band of wayward sales associates, taking ATGs and doing cage counts with nothing to lose and everything to prove.

Doubtful. I'm still not really seeing data/call simultinaeity being useful enough to convince people to switch to your network. Especially when thats the only thing about your network worth noting.

Mr_Wrong_0, not very active on the forum anymore, and our Vogue/Touch Chef RSToyGuy both work for The Man; and we really should set up a group, even if it is just moral support

I doubt it but I hope so, I'm crossing my fingers for a CDMA/EVDO/WiMax hybrid but I don't think it'll really matter like bradart said, it doesn't occur to most people, but I would sure like it if my internet connection didn't tank in the middle of loading a page when I get a text
