App or setting to keep wifi active during sleep mode?

Is there a setting or app that will keep wifi on when the phone goes into sleep mode? Usually, when I put the phone into sleep mode, the wifi disconnects after a minute or two.

here ya go man...

settings> Wireless Controls> WiFi Settings... now click on the Menu button.... select advanced...

here you will find what you are looking for by selecting wiFi sleep policy. i have mine set to never as well.

as i hook my Hero up to my stereo and play last.FM

Dont wanna get off subject but how are you playing last.FM? App? Or just through your internet?

Thanks. I'll play around with that when I get home. Work has secured wi-fi that only approved devices can access.

haha cool beans. i understand that. we dont even have wi-fi here at work. but Sprints network is pretty fast so i never really have a problem not using wifi
