A few questions about google voice and notifications

I have google voice installed and get incoming and send outgoing calls, txt and mms. So my questions are:

1) How do i set the OS to stop giving me double notifications of txt msgs? I have foward txt's to cell phone OFF. But even then I still get 2 notifications per event.

So after someone sends me a txt msgs, i get the following notifications:

Google Voice
Inbox: 1 unread

New Messages
1 unread message

Anyone else having that issue?

Re: A few questions about google voice and notifications

Yeah I saw the auto retrieve option, but that's for the provider cell #. So, if I get txt's to both #'s, i'll only get the google voice txt's right away, and then the provider # txts if i retrieve right?

I don't want to miss anything, but i don't want to get 2 x the notifications for each msg :P

thanks though
