android market fees

sup fam i have a question yesterday i finally bought a app from the market for $1.59 right....but when i go check my bank account it says google also charged me a $1.00 TWICE!!!! therefore altogether they took out $3.59 .....does n e one know what is up with $1.00 charges....so not koo...make me not wanna support the market if they are getting over on ppl...

I would assume that's a charge to just verify if your card is legit. Many companies do that, but then credit it back.

what ever happened to this charge?
Most of the time you will be charged in an instant like this and it's called a soft or memo post... doesn't really take money out of your account, just makes sure that there is money in the account to take it from... a couple of days later or so it will be hard posted to your account, this is when they actually take the money...

is this what happened to you?
