Notification tray while on Hero web browser?

Is there anyway to change the view on the native Hero browser? I like the full screen option but I hate having to go home to go to my notification bar or even see the freakin time!

Lol thanks any way fam. It's not a huge deal but it just seems like there should be a way to have it be visible.

Yeah I agree, every time I get an email it text it is bothersome but I have not really thought of it as !n issue

I know that Dolphin has this option and it is pretty close to the Stock browser. I don't like it though TBH.

i was wondering about that today. like a way to have the curtain holder pop up in case we wanna pull down and see what the notification was or even have it flash the new email thing as if we were on home screen. "/ maybe some tweaks anyone?

I enjoy the fullscreen browser, because it uses every bit of space for viewing. I guess an option would be nice, since we all like options

It's nothing I personally would use, especially with Handcent and it's pop up would let me quick reply. Sorry, don't know of any hacks, mods, to complete this task. Good Luck.

Yeah thats the main reason I have been using Handcent still. I used dolphin for a while but I prefer the stock browser. I just dont get why its not an option, especially since not having it defeats the purpose for having the curtain (while on the browser of course)

This used to really bother me but like princem131, I use handcent and that creates a popup for text messages which stops me from having to exit the browser to check a notification. The thing that it doesn't do is stop you from having to exit to get to calendar reminders. Dolphin is just not good for me. I have tried to like it due to everyone saying it's so much better than stock but I just don't see it. 2.1 is supposed to fix some of these issues with the text entry in the browser but I don't know if there will be an option to keep the status bar
