youtube suddenly not playing videos - Page 3

It opens HTC Flash Player by default for me, not YouTube mobile.

I hope this issue is fixed soon, considering youtube plays a big part of my phone usage. Good news is that until january 31 to exchange at best buy

After brainstorming with Athletic1 I believe the youtibe issue to be a firmware problem. When i was using 1.29, never had a problem watching YouTube. after the 1.56 update, can hardly play YouTube. Any thoughts?

Seems to have been my way as well. any one who's unit came with RUU 129 installed can verify . I know its hard now with every one rooted and Romed up

With any luck, an official 2.1 Sprint update will fix this...

However, I have run the YouTube app from Fresh rom, MoDaCo, and stock and had the same random play issue...

Which is why I believe this to be a firmware issue. If anyone is still running stock 1.29 could confirm that they can play YouTube vids in HQ, that would be great!

Very likely. Does anyone remember how well it played on stock 1.56/1.29? This is what I have done and seen:

Fresh 1.1, MoDaCo 2.0, and Eclair 2.1 all have a YouTube app of a different size. I installed each one, reset and tested...

The result was the same (random play) however 2.1 had a slightly better average chance of playing. I had to often click on a video about 4 times or more with a pause of about 3-6 seconds between to achieve video playback... a little too much just to play a video.

Will not the theory until we have the people on the stock ROM especially 129 . I have been flashed and rooted so much who knows.lol I am not sure when i noticed the change especially after i put the 2.1 on there
