Moved from TP2 to Hero

i just moved form the tp2 to the hero and im loving it...there are jus a few thigns i had on my tp2 that i need on my hero...i was looking for a way to force roaming and i need a way to tether through wifi. any help is appreciated.

welcome, get the root your phone and install the fresh rom. that will solve your wifi tether issues. dont know about roaming

Welcome. I came over from the TP and I have no regrets.
I believe you can buy PDAnet to tether without rooting your phone, but rooting is easy.
Been on Fresh.6 rom for five days and have had no bugs.

I haven't noticed any issues with Fresh's ROM as of yet.. It just takes some programs off and makes the phone feel a bit snappier and it has WiFi tethering

i just used to plug my phone into my laptop and go with my tp. i have fresh's .7 on my hero and cant figure out how to make my wifi tether work... can i get some step by step instructions please? thanks

it will show up in your wireless networks as G1tether. Just connect to it and your good to go.

im on the"press to start tethering" page.. ??? How and where do i get to select "g1tether" from? thanks
