you have to have the auto brightness setting enabled. since thats what it uses to figure out that your face is blocking the light sensor when on a call.

Did you know.. If you hit the home button after you make a call, the phone goes to the OE lock screen, and you're still on the call?

I get forc closes every single time i make a phone call. All my settings are right as far as i can tell. Re-installed 4 or 5 times.

I have ran into the same problems. Unable to figure it out.
