Question on Changing SD Cards...

Im using stock sprint everything, and it seems some apps have been installing on the microSD all by themselves. I have lots of files on the stock 2gb SD card that I need to transfer over to the new class 6 8bg card I got for $15. is it as simple as just copy/pasting the files over or do i need to reinstall all those apps?

Also, the current card is formatted in FAT, should I reformat the new one to FAT or is their a better option this phone can handle?

Found the card on newegg on black friday iirc. For some reason windows isnt giving me the option to format in FAT, only FAT32. Is their a way to format the SD card on the phone itself?

Re: Question on Changing SD Cards...

damn....the phone just formatted the card straight back into FAT32. looks like i will have to bust out some partition magic to get this over to FAT.

ETA - Ill just listen to athletic here and keep it fat32, shouldnt be a big deal.
