HTC Hero Accessories

Is there a hero accessories thread and I'm missing it? Went to Best Buy yesterday and bought a rubber skin from htc for my hero. I don't mind it, but it's attracting link like it's going out of style. I almost like having nothing on it in my pocket.

Seidio innocase 2 are starting to ship now and I like their product, but on my tp it made it almost too bulky.

Anybody have the innocase on their hero and any other suggestions for a case?

Also if there is a accessories thread point me to it and i'll just post on it

Re: HTC Hero Accessories

im interested to find a low profile case that is pocketable after being applied....dont want to add much more bulk to the phone at all. just wanna make sure if it falls, it wont be the phone hurting.

also, has anyone tried a screen protector? the screen is mounted almost flush with the bezel, im curious if they even stay applied. or if the phone has issues reading touch input.

Seidio = bulky?? I read somewhere that it adds only 1mm.

I bought a silicone case and screen protector from handhelditems.com awhile back. The case does ad bulkiness to the phone. The screen protector doesn't fit perfectly, but it works. It's a fingerprint magnet though.

Doesn't attract too much lint though.

The Seidio case was on my touch pro. I dont know about anybody else but from my standpoint I thought it was bulky.

This HTC Rubberized case is bad. Either that or my pockets are bad. I never had this much lint on the phone ever.

Re: HTC Hero Accessories

I think the rubber case is OK - it attracts a little animal hair here and there and some crumbs (I'm not a slob, really!) but if you wipe it off with a damp cloth all is well. I try and keep the phone in a loose pocket too (no jean pockets), which seem to help.

Re: HTC Hero Accessories

i find the more you use the rubber case, the less lint that is attracted to it.

Very true....when I got the black and blue rubber/silicone case from Sprint it attracted everything but you put alittle wear on it and it doesnt pick up anything...

I don't think it adds bulkiness at all really and gives you a really good grip on the phone....Honestly I dont like holding the phone with out it...my 2 cents
