I will get this when they have badace colors like the ones the iPhone has haha. I understand that the Hero won't last as long as the iPhone has, but that white one is Mint, like linux.

How well do these types of cases affect the heat generated when using the phone heavily? I ask because my hero can get quite warm.

I only wish it had a way to cover that tiny gap where the screen meets the buttons. I know it's probably impossible to do without interfering, just saying. Not that I have dust under my screen, but that thread at Sprints site is 15 freaking pages

Looks like that one is for the Sprint-style Hero??? The Telus is squarer, particularly around the chin. That's a shame, I realy like the Otter cases. We use the Defender's for all our field guys for their BB Curves. That series is really rugged!

Looks like I will be getting mine on Tuesday...

I was thinking about taking my current Hero back to Sprint for a dust removal service or exchange... Thinking this case may be a good dust blocker.

Anyone know if they are dishing out refurbs? Or have they been given the green light to fix the issue?

Quick review of the case, which I received today...

- Doesn't add too much bulk over the silicon case I purchased at Handhelditems.com
- has plugs to fill in the headphone hole and mini-usb hole.
- the rubber potion of the case does not cover the space between the glass and the housing
- while I didn't intend to use it, the screen protector will not cover the entire screen (sides are smaller)

more after I get it on, will post pics if time allows.

so how do ya'll like the case so far? its ok but i wish they made a defender. i ordered a defender for my friend's blackberry and its a lot nicer and has a clip. maybe they will end up making a clip for this one who knows
