Not. LED randomly flashing...

Anyone else have this issue? Sometimes when I reset my phone my LED starts flashing for no reason. I have no notifications & even if I did, my LED is set to off on all of them. What the crap.

Re: Not. LED randomly flashing...

Sorry. yes, stock rom, green flashing light, as if I've got a message or something. Also, the option to check or uncheck the light is greyed out(it is unchecked though).

Re: Not. LED randomly flashing...

You could try dl'ing the cab that enables led notifications or doing the manual reg edits to enable them then turn all of them off. Kind of sounds like a phantom message.

Re: Not. LED randomly flashing...

Don't mean to hijack this thread at all, but does anyone where the options are to make the LED blink for a longer amount of time when a notification comes in?

Thanks!

@kabul1 - have you power cycled the phone? Pull the battery out for a few mins and pop it back in, it should clear whatever is stuck in your notification queue.

Re: Not. LED randomly flashing...

I've done EVERYTHING, I even tried a couple other ROMs. All the same thing. I just did the reg edits to enable the LED options, so I'll report back with my findings.

Start>Settings>Sounds & Notifications>Choose the notification and change the flash led time.

Thanks lwrd, but this option doesn't exist in the stock ROM. I know it was there in 6.1 but it's hidden by default on this stock 6.5 ROM. Guess I have to go hunt down the reg entry that unhides this screen. I know there's a similar reg entry that unhides the System - Screen option which allows you to calibrate your screen. Any idea where this one might be?
