Re: Not. LED randomly flashing...

I thought I got to that option on the stock. Go to the settings tab of manila, press menu softkey then all settings and should have the regular options. I'll poke around and try and find the reg entry just in case and try it on the stock device at work.

DOH! So embarrassed I forgot about the "All settings" . So the option is definitely in there, it's just greyed out so I can't select the "Flash light for x minutes" option. I know there's a way to unhide it and I did it a long time ago with my Diamond but now I can't find it..

EDIT: So it seems that the only item you can select the amount of time to flash the LED is for "MediaUploader". So obviously it should be possible to do for other events like message, missed call etc, we just need to find it.

Totally worked! I knew you would come through

Lwrd for president imo

The only thing it didn't work for was Reminders, I'll do some research on that. The reg keys are easy enough to extract from the cab.

To enable reminders.... HKCU\Control Panel\Notifications\15f11f90-8af5f-454c-89fc-ba9b7aab0cad. Change available options from 11 to 15. Didn't realize that wasn't included in the cab.

Hopefully enabling the led options will fix kabuk1's original problem. definitely a wierd one that I haven't seen before except with phantom texts.

Done and done!

I updated the LED Enable cab to include everything, hopefully it helps someone else too.

Re: Not. LED randomly flashing...

Great find, I knew the cab was out there, I just wasn't sure if he had a phantom voicemail waiting or what. I know if I'm in a place with no coverage and someone leaves a voicemail and I clear my notices that the light will stay blinking until I actually dial up and clean up my messages. Whew alot of info for such a simple solution

Re: Not. LED randomly flashing...

Definitely a lot of info, but sometimes that is what it takes with something so complex and capable.
