Re: TMOUS MMS fixes anyone?
im having an issue with the mms size only being 300k and not being able to send any mms larger than that, as almost all that are worthy of sending are larger than the specified size. i have been doing some research for approx 2 days now and not finding any resolution. here is what i have done so far:
method #1: Cab fix = no change in message max parameters method #2: editing the registry decimal (in specific HKLM,/software/jataayu/mms/profiles/000 "Sendlimit" then editing the decimal line from 300 to 1024) value using Reg Edit = change in parameters in the registry, but not reflected in the message options to increase/decrease mms capacity method #3: using the menu button in the actual mms app its self, then options, then TmoMms server, attempting to adjust the send limit, but only having a 300k max option. i usually don't make a lot of posts as i can usually find things out on my own, yet i digress, i can not find an adequate solution to this issue. am i missing the proper registry string? is their a simple cab fix that i have overlooked? or am i just retarded, because i feel like it at the moment, lmao! thanks in advance for any help in the resolution of this matter. Re: TMOUS MMS fixes anyone?
I feel you, Ryan. I am still stuck in the same boat. Ive tried cabs and imported registries; nothing has worked! Im starting to think that there really is an MMS size limit for [certain] carriers? Even so, why the hell the 300k limit? A simple friggin WVGA screenshot is larger than that! Sad part is, i didnt even keep the stock ROM on my device long enough to check if there is a size limit for MMS sending. LOL. Can anyone on stock ROM check this out please?

Re: TMOUS MMS fixes anyone?
Found this @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=653563 and it actually worked
Go to messages>all messages>menu>settings>options>menu>MMS server>click on SampleMMS> Server name: T-Mobile MMS IP: 216.155.165.050 Port:8080 Server Address: 216.155.174.84/servlets/mms or http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc Connect via: Tmobile MMS If that still doesn't work then continue to do the following: Start>Settings>Connections>Connections 1.Click the the Advanced tab 2.Click "select network" 3.On the top drop down click on "T-mobile MMS" and click edit 4.click edit again 5.Click next 6. Change Access point name to: wap.voicestream.com 7. Click next again and then finish. 8.click okay 9.on the top drop down select T-mobile Data then click okay. You are all done. |

Re: TMOUS MMS fixes anyone?
Ive tried all the methods listed in this thread and none of it has worked on my TMOUS HD2. Then i came across this thread on XDA and tried the 'increame MMS size' cab found in the 3rd post. It works for me, and i am happier than a pig in sh!t! Enjoy, guys!
