Anyone interested in a Kitchen?

Ok, I have been playing with a kitchen/rom for the TMO US HD2 for the last couple of days and was wanting to know who is interested? I know stupid question! I won't have time to update it too often, but with members here and other resources I'll keep like post #4 for user submitted updates... Before I upload and clean it up, who would be interested? I don't think I want to maintain a rom, a kitchen would be more fun!!!

The rom would be stock, a few tweaks, a few programs, and some cool Sense add-ins...Nothing fancy, and updates would be updated packages, not the whole thing... Just thinking outloud here...

Re: Anyone interested in a Kitchen?

I don't have any experience with kitchens or cooking roms but I'd use it. Only one way to learn and that is to try doing it.

I can also throw together a kitchen if anyone wants, keep it updated with latest sys packages etc. Would be stock. Im guessing everyone likes VK?

Re: Anyone interested in a Kitchen?

Personally, I would be more interested in a ROM that closely resembles stock but has all the extra crap taken out. I can't stand 6.5.x so I don't want to upgrade to that. A few nice essential addons to Sense etc would be great (eg digital compass with set destination option, maybe some nicer taskbar icons etc).

I never have enough time to actually look in to cooking my own ROM, but I guess if no ROM exists that gives me what I'd like, then I may have to consider cooking if you guys make your kitchen available.

Thanks!

Re: Anyone interested in a Kitchen?

I personally don't like visual kitchens, i'd rather one styled like JD or RaidZero use, more of an Ervius style i guess.

Only problem is that so many chefs break the ROM up differently that when you get an updated SYS from JooJoo or others, half of the stuff is in different spots and nothing works...

That is juts platform rebuilder kitchen. My normal kitchen uses that as i prefer it, but for some reason i couldnt get it working when cooking for my hd2. Going to try rewriting my batch script for it. Ervius is the guy who created VK (visual kitchen) which is built ontop of platform rebuilder and takes longer to cook.
JooJoo has his sys for ppckitchen, most sys are already good to go with platform rebuilder, some are in VK format. I think ill post a kitchen based on platform rebuilder in the next few days if i have free time.

I thought about it later and remembered it was platform rebuilder...that would be awesome Bike!

Stupid question...how hard would it be to just modify a kitchen for the TP2 to work with the HD2?
