Enable/Disable Start and X key in 6.5.x taskbar

Navigate to HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Shell/Bubbletiles
To toggle the icons just change the value from 0 to 1 for the strings of HardwareStartKeyEnabled and HardwareEndKeyEnabled.

After making the change you must soft reset for it to take effect.

Thanks to Fards at XDA for the post.

Ok, thanks to many of you on here, I pretty much have the radio bit taken care of, though it seems it is down to using either the 2.09 or 2.10 cab for the more stable 3G strength. But now I have 2 things left yet:

1) I cannot change or add cities to my clock. If I tap, or double tap on the clock, nothing happens. Nor when in the settings for time can I add or remove any cities, it is greyed out and just show "CITY" and my time zone. How can I enable that again?

2) would like to find a taskbar with blue icons, and that will work (as in showing the speaker icon).

Once those are taken care of, the phone will be perfect for me! TIA!!!!!

For your cities, open up your registry editor, then go here: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]

Change "Weather.CityList"="NAM|US|CO|DENVER,NAM|US|NY |NEW YORK" etc. Just change the values to whatever city you want.

Hope this helps, let me know in case this all sounded like gibberish :)

[DL] cookie notification icons
for those that use Cookie home tab and want to give some subtle color to your notification icons. this also changes the screen lock icon from gray to color as seen on the top right of the screen (for those that have the icon enabled on CHT).

With my TP2, I was able to add a number of different cities when I double clicked the clock so I could select or view different time zones. Your edit here sounds like I would only be able to show one city at a time, and might have to edit the registry each time I do change? Even the manual for the HD2 shows I should bs able to double click on the clock and change things. So it appears to me either one of the cusfom home screen cabs broke this ability, or there is a normal setting I need to reset. Any ideas which? TIA

Yeah what you're saying should absolutely work, I'm not sure what happened that's causing your option to be greyed out. Maybe you changed some files in Manila or something? I was just offering a work around for the time being. But it definitely works on my phone the normal way - either by adding from the clock or by adding from the weather tab.

No you can actually add cities directly from the clock and they'll show up in the weather. It works either way, add in any place and it'll show up in both.
