How To... Start Cooking ROM for HD2!

Hi to everyone,
I just looked around the board for a tutorial about the HTC HD2 ROM cooking. I would like know the threads I should look to and... some starting tips to make my own ROM.

hey mate,

first we need an SPL unlocker that will work before we can flash custom roms, developers are working and we should have one very soon.

Then we will need an HD2 kitchen, which I am planning on grabbing from XDA and making some mods to.

Mindfrost just made an HD2 upgrades subforum, keep checking it out for a Kitchen and when we have one you will have instructions on how to use it to cook your own custom ROMs.

orangekid, thanks for the reply! So kitchen where are come out? Where can I found these for start cooking? Can I decript a cooked ROM?
Could you give me some links for just stuff?

wait till the device comes out in two days. There will be kitchens posted very soon. It will be in the "HD2 upgrades" subforum.

If you want to start searching right now hit up XDA and go to the HD2 area and look for a kitchen. the Euro roms will work on our Tmo HD2s, but the SPL unlocker won't.

1) the device needs to come out (2 days)

2) we need the SPL unlocker (soon)

3) a kitchen will be posted

4) you can tell what went into a ROM and cook one of your own like it with your specs, just stay tuned

Just waiting on a SPL unlocker. A kitchen has already been posted @ xda, but I gotta wait for the unlocker before I start customizing. Anyone seen an SPL unlocker in the works????

There's been a hard and soft spl at xda for a while now. I have a Leo (HD 2) that I got in January and flashed it the first week.
