Plans for chefs and upcoming ROMs

Since the HSPL for the HD2 has been out for quite some time in Europe, I was wondering if anyone here has plans to start making custom ROMs

I'd love to hear from anyone if they're planning to.

I hope that in the coming months, this forum will have similar activity as the TP2 forum

most of us have never even touch said device! it not even offically released in america! plus this site is mainly cdma!! well most of the chefs use cdma!!

I plan on giving it a go! I'm really not feeling the Cliq and all that android jazz... Just gotta wait until the 24th...

I'm sure there are, just not sure about their Euro-centric nature I guess.. Or maybe I'm just used to ignoring their ROMs since they have GSM and I've had a CDMA Diamond for so long? I think their GSM ROMs should work just fine, but it might be nice to have some of the nicer features from T-Mo's latest like the e-book reader etc.

but that's bundled in most current roms...sorry xda is my home away from home so to speak

Ok I have not had a GSM device in a while, but shouldn't any GSM HD2 ROM work with the T-Mobile version as well? I know there are tons of GSM HD2 ROM's out there already so if I am correct, they should work on the T-Mobile version as well. Correct me if I am wrong but I am sure there will be tons of ROM's available for us to use. I never used the stock ROM when I received my Touch Pro2 and I don't plan on using the stock ROM on the HD2 either.

It is possible to downgrade to this SPL, by just flashing to an Official ROM with this SPL version.

If i'm reading this right, you have to first down grade your ROM, to SPL 1.42.0000 Official ROM, Then Install Hard-SPL unlocker, And then and only then Installation of custom ROMs. That sound like a lot,

IT WILL HAVE TO BE ONE HELL OF A T-MOBILE CUSTOM ROM FOR ME TO DO ALL OF THAT
