Does 3g work with AT&T on unlocked HD2?

I am thinking about trading my iPhone for a hd2 and I would like to know if there's a way to have the 3g AT&T network? I live in Washington state.

Doesn't look like it. At&t uses a different frequency for their 3g signal than the european and soon to be released t-mobile version support. Voice would work but data would only be edge and gprs speeds.

Their sure is, You need to buy the new version of the HD2. The model number is t9193. This is a version that was released in australia but it supports at&t's 850mhz band. With the unlocked version of this phone you will get 3g in the us.
